Experienced Teaching, Now Online
I taught English in Hong Kong for over 25 years, including at a well-known learning centre and as a private tutor. Today, all lessons are taught online using simple, effective tools.
The same personal approach continues online, with lessons adapted for each student.
How Online Lessons Work
Lessons are taught live using Zoom or Google Meet. I screen-share reading, writing, and images to explain meaning, grammar, and pronunciation.
Each student has a shared Google document. I record corrections, examples, and new vocabulary during every lesson.
Students can review lessons anytime. Parents can see exactly what their children studied.
Understanding Hong Kong Students
My children attended local Hong Kong schools from kindergarten to secondary. I understand the homework load, exams, and interview pressure.
Parents and children often review lesson notes together on their phones or tablets.
Practical English for Teens & Adults
Older students focus on clear speaking, accurate writing, and confident communication.
Adult students often add new words to their shared document during the week. Some send photos of menus or work documents to practise together.
